Day 2
Your
Regis Martin tour begins with the highlights of San Francisco.
Our stops will include historical landmarks, architectural sites
and noted tourist stops. Filoli House, Mission Delores, the Bay
& Golden Gate Bridges, Treasure Island, Fisherman's Wharf,
Ghiradelli Square, Chinatown, North Beach, The Palace of Fine
Arts and various landmark buildings.
Treasures of Marin County:
Day 3
Discover the splendor of beautiful Marin County. Enjoy walking
under the treasured giant Redwoods of Muir Woods, named after
famed conservationist, John Muir, founder of the Sierra Club.
Lunch and shop in the quaint coastal village of Sausalito. Other
stops include the Mission San Rafael Archangel and the Frank Lloyd
Wright's last commissioned work, the Marin Civic Center.
The Art of Winemaking in Napa:
Day 4
A memorable day for wine lovers, visiting specially selected Napa
wineries. Experience Napa's famous appellations and historical
influences on the valley. Enjoy tastings of varietal estate wines,
sparkling and fortified wines. Our tour includes a tutorial in
wine appreciation and the art of winemaking. Cheers!
Splendor of the No. California Coast:
Day 5
We spend the day travelling the famous coastline Highway 1. You'll
see why so much of this area is protected by National Parks. We'll
make a stop in Bodega Bay, where Alfred Hitchcock filmed the movie,
The Birds. Other highlights include the Point Reyes Lighthouse
and the Audubon Canyon Ranch. Be sure to bring your camera!
Tours and
Shopping in San Francisco
Day 6
A day to discover
San Francisco's love affair with the world of art. We will visit
the Legion of Honor Museum, the Asian Art Museum, the de Young,
and MOMA.
If you prefer,
this day is also a perfect time to spend on your own in San Francisco's
famed shops and art galleries. Or take a boat tour to Alcatraz.
We can assist you in planning a personal excursion to match your
interests.
Departure
Day 7
Regis Martin staff will transport you to the airport for departure
to your return destination.
